I'm a licensed clinical social worker based in Heber City, Utah, and a mom to twin boys who bring constant energy and joy. I hold a Master of Social Work from Boise State University and earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Utah.

I specialize in trauma-informed care, EMDR, and solution-focused therapy, and I am passionate about helping people reconnect with their inner strength, clarity, and sense of self. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for each person's unique path.

Outside of session, I love being outdoors with my family, creating cozy spaces, and nerding out on nervous system science and alternative healing. I'm always trying to live more rooted, more present, and more aligned. I love helping others do the same.

Meet Courtney

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with individuals across the lifespan, with a special focus on children, adolescents, and parents. My approach is person-centered and rooted in the belief that healing happens best within safe, supportive relationships. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I specialize in trauma-informed treatment. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and EMDR. When working with children, I incorporate developmentally appropriate approaches such as play therapy and sandtray to help them express themselves, process experiences, and build emotional regulation skills in ways that feel natural and engaging.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy running and spending time with my family, which helps me stay grounded and balanced, values I also support clients in cultivating in their own lives.

I have wanted to become a therapist since my teenage years, driven by a genuine desire to help people see themselves in a more positive and empowered light. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families as they work to unlock their inner potential and create meaningful, lasting change. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah, and through both my personal experiences and my professional work, I have come to understand that life’s journey includes both profound highs and challenges that can feel overwhelming. Even so, there is always the opportunity to choose a path forward. I value the growth that comes from the process and find fulfillment in walking alongside others as they navigate their own journeys.

Throughout my career, I have developed extensive experience working with teens, adults, and families. My clinical focus includes trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and compulsive behaviors, and supporting individuals involved in or impacted by the correctional system. I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s needs, intending to foster insight, resilience, and improved overall well-being.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I have a strong interest in sports, enjoy planning engaging activities, and find relaxation and fulfillment in cooking—an outlet that allows me to recharge and connect through food.
